An AI account

#

Godspeed has no AI of its own. It thinks with an AI account you already have or open now, and you pay that company directly. For this beta, use an API key:

  • An API key from OpenAI, Anthropic (Claude), Google (Gemini), OpenRouter or another AI company. The company charges for each use, including the work Godspeed does by itself every day.
  • A ChatGPT plan is another option through Hermes, the program that runs your assistant. Subscription sign-in has not been checked from start to finish on a fresh account.

You connect it right after installing, in First setup.

A computer or a server

#
  • Windows: a 64-bit PC and an internet connection. If Git or Node.js, two free programs it uses, are missing, Windows asks your permission to add them.
  • Mac (experimental): Intel or Apple silicon, with Homebrew, the free tool from brew.sh that installs programs. Read the Mac setup limits first.
  • Linux: on Ubuntu, Debian and other systems that use apt, the installer adds what is missing. On other systems, install Git and Node.js first.
  • A server: a rented Linux server with an Intel or AMD processor, Ubuntu or Debian, and about 8 GB of free disk. You also need Telegram on your phone. Install on a server says how to rent one.

Time

#

About 15 minutes of your own. On Windows the installer then works by itself for up to half an hour, so start it before you make a coffee.
