Beta setup limits

#

Mac setup is experimental

#

The installer supports Intel and Apple silicon, but the whole setup has not been checked on a physical Mac. For this beta, use Windows or Linux.

Follow this on GitHub to hear when the Mac setup is ready.

Subscription sign-in needs a fresh-account walkthrough

#

Subscription sign-in through Hermes has not been checked from start to finish on a fresh account. Use an API key in Settings for this beta.

Follow this on GitHub to hear when subscription sign-in is ready.

In the notebook

#

A removed rule disappears from Godspeed's brain

#

A rule you removed no longer shows on Godspeed's brain, so you cannot open its earlier versions there. Ask the chat on that page to bring it back.

Follow this on GitHub to hear when it is fixed.

Older Windows installs have folder names that say "Full Alpha"

#

A Windows install made from 2.0.0-beta.11 on keeps its files in %LOCALAPPDATA%\Godspeed Mission Control and %LOCALAPPDATA%\Godspeed Mission Control State. An install made before keeps the older names, %LOCALAPPDATA%\Godspeed Mission Control Full Alpha and %LOCALAPPDATA%\Godspeed Mission Control Full Alpha State, also after updating. They are only names: everything works, and updates find what is already installed. A later version will move older installs to the new names.

Follow this on GitHub to hear when older installs move.

On Windows

#

Two Godspeed Mission Control entries in Apps

#

With the previous edition on the same PC, Windows' Apps list shows two entries named Godspeed Mission Control. The one with version 2.18.0 is the previous edition. An app you made from the notebook in Chrome or Edge is not the same thing: it now has its own name, Godspeed Mission Control notebook. To uninstall, use the Start menu, as Uninstall shows.

Follow this on GitHub to hear when it is fixed.
