Add-ons
The add-ons you can install next to Godspeed Mission Control, and the optional features already inside it, with where each works and what it costs.
On this page
An add-on is a separate package with its own installer and its own repository on GitHub. You install it on the same computer or server as Godspeed. These add-ons are made by Michael Zelbel, the author of Godspeed Mission Control.
The Wingman
#- What it does: goes through the profiles a dating site suggests every evening, likes or passes at a person's pace, and brings you matches with three reply ideas. It never sends a message you did not pick or dictate.
- Works on: your own computer (Windows, Mac or Linux), next to Godspeed.
- Needs: an account on Flirtual, the dating site built into it, Chrome or Edge, and Godspeed's existing AI connection.
- Costs: free. Profiles and reply ideas use Godspeed's existing AI allowance or API billing; no separate subscription or login is needed.
- Licence and source: MIT, github.com/MichaelZelbel/godspeed-wingman
- Install: Install the Wingman dating helper
The Clerk (beta)
#- What it does: reads your phone scans and sorts them in Paperless-ngx, the program that keeps them. It adds their text and requested deadlines to Godspeed. Google Drive copies are optional.
- Works on: a Linux server with Godspeed Mission Control 2.0.0-beta.6 or newer, using the one-line Docker installation or Godspeed installed directly on Linux.
- Needs: your existing AI connection, Docker with Compose and room for Paperless. Optional Drive copies need a Google app you own.
- Costs: free. Scans use Godspeed's existing AI allowance or API bill; your rented server is paid separately. Any paid Drive storage is separate if you connect it.
- Licence and source: MIT, github.com/MichaelZelbel/godspeed-clerk
- Install: Add The Clerk to Godspeed Mission Control
Video finishing (mc-video)
#- What it does: burns captions into a video you recorded and makes a vertical cut for phones. Ask Godspeed in the chat, or type two terminal commands. It brings the video skills with it, so Godspeed can also write hooks, animated title cards, slides and designed captions (Skills that come with it).
- Works on: your own computer (Windows, Mac or Linux), with Godspeed installed on that same computer.
- Needs: Node.js 22 or newer and about 1.5 GB of disk space. The setup offers to install ffmpeg and uv.
- Costs: free. Speech recognition runs on your computer, so your video goes nowhere.
- Licence and source: MIT, with the caption font Archivo Black under the SIL Open Font License and HyperFrames under Apache 2.0, github.com/MichaelZelbel/mc-video
- Install: Finish your videos with captions
Telegram stickers
#- What it does: three free sticker sets, and a plugin that lets your assistant send one at the right moment, for example when a job is done.
- Works on: the one-line server, the installation with Telegram.
- Needs: your Telegram bot, connected during the server's setup.
- Costs: free.
- Licence and source: CC0, public domain, artwork included, github.com/MichaelZelbel/hermes-telegram-stickers
- Install: Add Telegram stickers
Phone calls (mc-phone)
#What it does: makes one phone call for you, such as booking a table, and reports the result.
Works on: a Linux computer installed as Install on Linux shows, and a server without Docker, also one installed as root. A server set up with the previous edition's server installer works too. Not on Windows, a Mac or the one-line server: there, Godspeed says it cannot call and gets the call ready for you to make yourself.
Needs: accounts at ElevenLabs, which runs the voice, and Twilio, which puts the call on a phone line. The add-on's setup pages walk you through both. The install asks for your computer's password once, unless you are root.
Costs: each call costs money at both.
Licence and source: MIT, github.com/MichaelZelbel/mc-phone
Install: on that computer or server, in a terminal, as the account that installed Godspeed. Change
godspeed-v2if you chose another folder.RUNTIME="$HOME/godspeed-v2/.godspeed/integrated-runtime" sudo bash "$RUNTIME/versions/$(cat "$RUNTIME/version")/third-party/addons/mc-phone/install.sh"It asks for your ElevenLabs key, your name, your mobile number and your time zone, then offers one test call to your own phone. After that, ask Godspeed: "Call +49 30 1234567 and book a table for two on Friday at seven."
Built in: nothing to install
#Every installation already has these. If a README on GitHub tells you to install one, skip it.
- Coaching talks and habits: Start a coaching talk, Build a habit
- The work journal: Keep a work journal
- The headache diary: Keep a headache diary
- The coding helper for your own code projects: Use Godspeed in VS Code, Claude or Codex
The observed state line
#One optional line at the end of your morning brief that says whether the world looks normal today:
- What it looks at: air traffic at 30 airports, the internet in 52 countries, and earthquakes of magnitude 6 or more. On an unusual day it names what is unusual, never a score.
- Works on: your own computer (Windows, Mac or Linux), once your morning brief runs.
- Costs: none. Your mission control reads one small public file from GitHub, rebuilt every hour. Nothing about you is sent.
- Switch it on: ask Godspeed to add this sentence, exactly as it is, to the end of your morning brief routine's instructions. To switch it off, ask it to take the sentence out.
The facts come from Observed State, a free website, used with its author's permission.
