Tell it about yourself
Tell Godspeed where you live, a little about you and what you want help with first, then see and change what it keeps.
On this page
Godspeed gets to know you in a chat of about five minutes. It asks three things, one at a time, and you can skip any of them.
Start the getting-to-know-you chat
#- Open the chat in your notebook, or Telegram on a server installed with the one-line command.
- Send the word
contexton its own, without a slash (/is a different command in Telegram). The chat begins.context
While the Dashboard still shows the card Tell Godspeed about you, about five minutes, its Start now button does the same.

If you finished this chat before, Godspeed does not ask again: tell it what is new in your own words, or change what it knows yourself.
Answer its three questions
#- Where you live. It uses your city only for your time zone. If your computer told it already, it names the city it uses: correct it if that is wrong.
- A little about you. Reply with a number, or tell it about yourself in your own words:
- Send a file about you. The chat names one from the book Teach It Once, but any text works.
- Let ChatGPT or Claude write it. Godspeed gives you a message to copy into that app; correct its answer there and paste it back.
- Answer five short questions, then confirm a short summary.
- Not now.
- What you want help with first. Your answer becomes your first goal (Give it your first goal).
Say "skip" to move to the next question, or "stop" to end the chat.
See what it knows about you
#- Open Godspeed's brain in the sidebar, under System.
- Click What it knows at the top. You see About me, My people, My projects and priorities and My voice.
- Open one. Its text opens ready to change: change what you like and click Save.
Godspeed reads About me before it helps you with anything. Every change keeps the earlier version (Undo a change).
Fill in My Profile
#My Profile holds optional details about you, in categories such as Identity & Basics. Godspeed looks them up when a question needs them, and AI apps you connect to your notebook receive them.
- Open My Profile in the sidebar, under System.
- On the Profile tab, fill in what you like. Suggest entries from my notes proposes facts it found in your notes.
- To hand your profile to another AI tool, open Export & Share. Pick a profile view, such as Professional or Personal, and click Copy to clipboard or Download as .txt.
