  2. Another folder on the same computer

Your mission control moves through a private GitHub repository: the old computer puts everything there, and the new one starts from it.

  1. On the old computer, connect a private GitHub repository. Wait a minute, or click Sync now.

  2. On the new computer, install Godspeed Mission Control with the repository's address:

    • Windows: paste it into Address of a mission control you already have (optional):.

    • Mac or Linux: put yours in place of the example:

      Terminal
      curl -fsSL https://godspeedmissioncontrol.com/install | bash -s -- --repo https://github.com/you/my-mission-control
  3. Connect your AI account on the new computer, as in First setup.

  4. In its notebook, open Settings, Sync and schedule ownership, and click This computer runs the routines.

Your notes, profile, rules, skills, goals and conversation archive are now on the new computer.

What does not come along by itself

#
  • Keys and passwords, such as your AI sign-in or Gmail. Set them up again.
  • Photos and files in your notes. They stay on the old computer, unless a paired server carries them.
  • Your assistant's earlier conversations. Their files arrive, but the new assistant starts without them. On a Mac or Linux, hand them over before step 3, as The notebook command shows.

Another folder on the same computer

#

On Windows, the notebook's own program moves your mission control to another folder: a plan first, then the move, and an undo if you change your mind. The old folder is kept beside the new one, and its old path keeps leading to the new folder. The notebook command has the steps.

On a Mac or Linux, keep your mission control in the folder you installed it in. Moving it to another folder there is not supported.
