# Things you can say

Canonical: https://godspeedmissioncontrol.com/guide/things-you-can-say

Say these in the notebook's chat, or in Telegram on the [one-line server](/guide/glossary#one-line-server). The words are examples: Godspeed goes by what you mean, and many requests work in German too.

## Getting to know you

- `context` on its own: a five-minute chat about where you live, about you, and what you want help with first.
- `let me tell you about me`, `get to know me` or `I want to fill in my profile`: the same chat.
- `skip`, `not now`, `later`, `pass` or `no`: moves on to the next question.
- `stop`, `enough` or `another time`: ends the chat.

## Goals and the day's steps

- `make this a goal` or `work on this for me`: saves a goal and names it. The first one starts the routines.
- `park this idea`: keeps it without working on it.
- `research my goal <name> now`: researches that goal now instead of at night.
- `decide today` or `what is the best next thing to do`: picks today's steps now.
- `ship all`: every step on today's list goes ahead.
- `1 and 3`: only those steps go ahead.
- `not 2`: that step stays back.
- `I wrote 1,400 words this week for my novel`, or any number for a goal's weekly number: saves it as this week's reading.

A step that costs money always waits for your yes. One that goes out to a person in your name waits too, unless you allowed that kind of step.

- `what runs on its own?`: your routines, each with its next run.
- `Pause the deadline reminders`: pauses that routine.
- `Move the weekly check-in to Saturday at six`: moves the Sunday talk about your goals.

## Trackers

- `track weight 81.5 kg`: asks once to start a Weight tracker; `yes` starts it.
- `track weight 81.2`: adds today's number and says how it changed.
- `track weight 81.6 yesterday`: puts the entry on that day.
- `I want to track my sleep: hours, and quality from 1 to 5`: one tracker with both columns. Then `track sleep, 7 hours, quality 4`.
- `track sauna`: a tracker that counts each time.
- `call it Waist`, in answer to its question: names the new tracker.
- `that was 81.4, not 81.2`: changes the latest entry.
- `delete the last weight`: removes the latest entry.

## The Charm Challenge

- `start the Charm Challenge`: begins 21 days of charming your AI into the result instead of arguing with it, and says the day it ends.
- `how is my Charm Challenge?`: the days to go, the end date, your longest run and how often you started over.
- `charm slip`: starts over at 21 straight away.
- When you vent at an AI, in whatever words, the answer ends with `Back to 21? Yes / No`. `yes` starts over with a new end date; `no` changes nothing and counts as a reset you talked it out of.
- `stop the Charm Challenge`: ends it. Nothing is lost; say the word and a new one starts.

The count is yours, not the AI's. Godspeed keeps it in a tracker of its own, carries one line in
your morning brief, and starts over only when you say so.
