## A

### Add-on

A separately installed package that adds one ability, such as the Wingman or Telegram stickers. See [Add-ons](/guide/add-ons).

### AGENTS.md

The file of main instructions at the top of your mission control folder, which Godspeed and desktop AI apps read first. See [Change its rules and instructions](/guide/change-its-rules).

### Allowing a kind of step

A yes you give once, so one kind of step for a goal goes out without asking each time. Money, bookings and a first message to someone new always need a fresh yes. See [Approve, stop or allow a step](/guide/steps).

### API key

A secret code from an AI company that lets Godspeed use your account there, which you pay that company for. See [What you need](/guide/what-you-need).

### Approval

Your yes before a step happens. Anything that costs money, or goes out to a person in your name, waits for it. See [What it does alone, and what it asks first](/guide/approvals).

### Assistant

Godspeed, the one you talk to in the notebook and in Telegram, run by [Hermes](#hermes) with your AI account. See [Chat with Godspeed](/guide/talk-to-it).

## B

### Backup

A checked copy of your notes, your mission control folder and your media. **Settings**, **Recovery**, **Save a backup** makes one, and Godspeed makes one every night once it knows your time zone. See [Back up and restore](/guide/back-up).

### Beside installation

A second, separate mission control on the same computer, in a folder of its own. Your commands and routines keep using the first. See [Update Godspeed Mission Control](/guide/update).

### BotFather

Telegram's own bot for making bots. It gives you the key you paste into the notebook's **Connect Telegram** page. See [First setup](/guide/first-setup).

## C

### Chat command

A short word that starts with a slash, such as `/new`, sent in Telegram on the one-line server. See [Chat commands](/guide/chat-commands).

### Coaching talk

A regular short conversation with Godspeed about one area of your life, on a day and time you choose. Your first goal sets up the [weekly check-in](#weekly-check-in). See [Start a coaching talk](/guide/coaching).

### Collection

A table of things you keep in order in the notebook, such as a reading list. Trackers are collections too. See [Your notebook](/guide/notebook).

### Conflicts

Two versions of the same thing that Godspeed could not join, such as a note changed on two computers. **Settings** lists them under **Review conflicting edits**. See [Use it on two computers](/guide/several-devices).

### Container

A sealed box on a server that holds a program and everything it needs. On the one-line server, all of Godspeed runs in one. See [Server commands](/guide/server-commands).

### Conversation archive

Copies of your conversations with AI apps, kept in `prompts/archive/` in your folder. Godspeed searches it when it cannot recall something. See [Find an old conversation](/guide/find-a-conversation).

## D

### Daily round

Two routines: one chooses the day's work on your goals at 05:30, the other does it at 10:00 and 16:00. With an API key they cost money. See [How the daily work runs](/guide/daily-work).

### Dashboard
